The only such costume on the market!
The Santa-bishop suit comprises a coat (cloak), stole, mitre, alb, beard & wig and a rope for tying at the waist. Every part of the suit is extremely well-made.
The large coat (cloak), in deep red, is velvety to the touch (made of plush), and is fitted with a shining gold lining. Its laps are decorated with a broad gold trim featuring a red design (all trims in the suit are embroidered with gold thread). A short cape is sewn into the cloak, and is finished with the same kind of lining and trimmed with gold tassels (it has a gold lining). It fastens beneath the neck with a gilded buckle.
Stole - 6" (15 cm) wide, made of the same material as the coat, and featuring a gold trim. A band crossing the chest makes sure it doesn’t slip off the wearer’s neck. Finished with gold tassels.
Mitre - made of the same material as the coat, finished with gold trim. Adorned at the front with a Roman cross. Gold lining on the underside. From the rear of the mitre two 9.5" (24 cm) bands hanging loosely on the back, decorated with gold tassels. The mitre itself is stiff, and sits perfectly in place on the wearer’s head.
Alb - made of thin white material has long sleeves and a stand-up collar, fastened by a button at the back of the neck. The sleeves and lower part are fringed with white lace; on the sleeves the lace is 9" (23 cm) wide, and at the bottom - 20" (51 cm). The Alb may be tied at the waist with the cincture (provided with the product), which enables the wearer to adjust the length.
Thick and very convincing Santa-bishop beard in a light cream colour, together with a wig. The beard is 12" (30 cm) long and attached with elastic straps. The wig thoroughly covers the wearer’s own hair and ears, and makes sure nobody recognises him.
The suits are made in Germany. Even real bishops could envy Santa such refined attire!
NB: this product does not include the glasses, gloves or staff visible in the photo. They may be bought separately.
